Lion Sands consists of two lodge sitting on the Sabi River in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve. River Lodge is a perfect family friendly camp and really welcome families. Ivory Lodge is something a bit special and really the camp you want to go to with someone significant. Each of the rooms has its own plunge pool.
The lodges are both part of the Sabi Sands Private Reseve which is home to the highest and most diverse concentration of wildlife in the southern hemisphere. You can see all of Africa’s iconic species here, including all of the Big Five, along with a supporting cast of no less intriguing 137 mammal species and over 450 varieties of bird – while having minimal encounters with other people.
