Your Itinerary

We depart from a central location in Paphos this morning by air-conditioned coach at 06h45 for Larnaca Airport, departing on Aegean Airlines to Athens:
Depart A3903 Larnaca 10h30 Arrive Athens 12h15
Upon arrival in Athens we will be met by our local guide and transferred to the city for a light lunch and afternoon City Tour before checking in at our hotel for the night. Enjoy a traditional Greek Taverna dinner this evening in the heart of buzzing Athens.
Day 2: Saturday 02 March 2024 | Athens & Celestyal Journey
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at our hotel this morning with some free time in the City before we depart by coach for the port of Pireaus to board the lovely Celestyal Journey to enjoy our 7 night/8 day Adriatic Sea Cruise with a departure at 13h00.
This evening enjoy a private, group Welcome Cocktail Party on board before dinner.
Day 3: Sunday 03 March 2024 | Kefalonia
The ship arrives at Kefalonia port at 08h00 and departs at 17h00.
The island of Kefalonia, in the Ionian Sea, is famous for its beautiful beaches, national park and welcoming locals that are always game for a laugh. Between the other islands of the Ionian Sea stands grand Kefalonia. Much-photographed, much-talked about, much-loved by Greeks and foreigners alike. Not just because of Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, the 2001 film set on Kefalonia island that attracted so much attention, but also because of its sheer beauty, stately towns and many other impressive attractions.
Fir covered islands dotted with charming villages meet a sparkling coastline on Kefalonia, the largest of the Ionian Islands. See nature's best work at Melisanni Cave, where sublime colours reflect off the lake within. Sip cocktails in a harbour-side taverna while colourful yachts jostle for position.
Day 4: Monday 04 March 2024 | Dubrovnik, Croatia
The ship arrives at Dubrovnik port at 12h00 and departs at 02h30 on Tuesday 05 March 2024.
After a leisurely morning at sea, Celestyal Journey arrives in the stunning port city of Dubrovnik. Our stay here offers a rare opportunity to experience an evening in port with the ship only departing at 02h30 the following morning.
Dubrovnik is a beautiful city in Croatia. It’s famous for its medieval Old Town, the stunning landscapes, and more recently, for being one of the filming sets of Game of Thrones.
Day 5: Tuesday 05 March 2024 | Kotor, Montegero
A short overnight cruise takes us to the absolutely breathtaking port of Kotor in Montenegro where we dock this morning at 08h00.
Wedged between brooding mountains and a moody corner of the bay, achingly atmospheric Kotor (Котор) is perfectly at one with its setting. Hemmed in by staunch walls snaking improbably up the surrounding slopes, the town is a medieval maze of museums, churches, cafe-strewn squares, and Venetian palaces and pillories. It’s a dramatic and delightful place where the past coexists with the present; its cobblestones ring with the sound of children racing to school in centuries-old buildings, lines of laundry flutter from wrought-iron balconies, and hundreds of cats – the descendants of seafaring felines – loll in marble laneways. Come nightfall, Kotor’s spectacularly lit-up walls glow as serenely as a halo. We depart this afternoon at 17h00.
Day 6: Wednesday 06 March 2024 | Bari, Italy
The ship arrives at Bari port at 08h00 and departs at 17h00.
Bari – the capital of Italy’s Puglia region – is plotted along the coast near the top of the country’s heel. As far as sizes go, the city comes in a large, but it’s managed to stay relatively off the radar, making it an ideal pick if you want to avoid the tourist throngs. Better still, the main sights are all within walking distance of each other – including the labyrinth-like old town, the pretty harbour, Romanesque churches and upmarket shopping streets.
Day 7: Thursday 07 March 2024 | Corfu, Greece
The ship arrives at Corfu port at 08.00 and departs at 17h00.
Corfu town, especially for its oldest part, is one of the most charming and romantic places of all the Greece.
It is a perfect example of ancient Venetian and Byzantine art that will be able to fascinate you with its little streets and its panoramic points. Surrounded by the sea, the old town of Kerkyra is closed between the two ancient fortresses.
Day 8: Friday 08 March 2024 | Katakolon, Greece
The ship arrives at Katakolon Port at 08h00 and departs at 14h00.
Sitting on a headland in the northwest Peloponnese, the pretty port town of Katakolon could be one of Greece’s best-kept secrets. A visit here acts as a gateway to both the largely agricultural province of Ilia (also known as Eleia) and the ancient site of Olympia that gave rise to the modern Olympics. Despite the popularity of Olympia, the town itself and the surrounding countryside remain delightfully untouched, meaning many elements of a visit will be familiar—long, sandy beaches, rolling hills, great food, incredible wines and the warmest of welcomes.
Day 8: Saturday 09 March 2024 | Athens to Paphos
The ship arrives at the Port of Piraeus at 07h00.
Depart A3904 Athens 13h05 Arrive Larnaca 14h45
Upon arrival in Larnaca, we will be met and transferred by coach to a central point in Paphos after a fantastic group journey to the Adriatic.
